Yorkshire Puddings 英國約克郡布丁
One of the most classic British food – Yorkshire Puddings, every Sunday British like to have Sunday Roast, it included a big pieces of roasted meat (beef, pork, lamb or chicken) , plus roasted potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding with lot of gravy. For me, Yorkshire puddings is the most exciting thing on the plate. If you want to see if it is a good restaurant, the chefs have to know how to make proper Yorkshire puddings.
It is very easy to make, most households have their own recipe. With flour, egg and milk, cook in a very hot tin with oil. It will puff up beautifully, big, brown and very crispy. Delicious! Mr P said his grandparents even like to spread the jam on Yorkshire Puddings as a dessert.

將用雞蛋、麵粉、牛奶的麵糊,放入焗爐高溫焗就 自己做非常簡單,每個英式主婦都有自己的食譜。Mr P說他爺爺更喜歡用果醬塗Yorkshire Pudding 當甜品
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt together.
Then add in eggs and milk to mix well. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Preheated the oven at 200C, pour the oil in each muffin tin, then pop the tin into oven, bake for 10-15 minutes until the oil is very hot.
Then pour the Yorkshire pudding batter into each tin, then pop back in oven and bake for 20-25 mins until brown on top and fully cooked.
*The most important tip is DO NOT open the oven door while baking, or the Yorkshire puddings will collasped.
*It is best serve warm, or you can keep it in freezer, every time just have to reheat it in the oven and it will become crispy again.
在大碗內將麵粉和鹽拌勻
加入雞蛋和牛奶拌勻至沒有粉粒,靜置最少30分鐘
預熱焗爐200C,在馬芬盤內倒入菜油,然後馬芬盤放入焗爐,焗10至15分鐘,至油非常熱
拿出馬芬盤,倒入麵糊,立刻放入焗爐,焗約20-25分鐘即成!(表面啡色)
*這個食譜可做大約8個布丁
*焗布丁期間,千萬不可以打開焗爐門,否則布丁就會下塌
*可以將Yorkshire Puddings 放入冰箱存放,每次享用前放入焗爐內加熱至香脆即可

- 1/4 tsp Salt 鹽
- 3 Eggs 雞蛋
- 220 ml Milk 牛奶
