XO Sauce Chicken Puffs XO醬雞肉酥
Anyone like me that love to add XO sauce in everything…fried rice, noodles, porridge etc. They are the sauce made with dried scallops, chilli, dried shrimps, it might taste weird for some people but I just LOVE it!
This time I make these chicken puff with xo sauce, it is like the bbq pork puff dim sum with little twist. They are so easy to make and xo sauce just make the world more beautiful! Try and I am sure you will love it too!
- 1 pack puff pastry
- 200 g minced chicken
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp xo sauce
- egg wash
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 盒 酥皮
- 200 克 免治雞肉
- 1/4 個 洋蔥(切碎)
- 2 湯匙 XO 醬
- 蛋液
- 1 湯匙 生抽
- 1 茶匙 糖
- 1/2 茶匙 鹽
- 1 茶匙 生粉

Marinate the minced chicken for 30 minutes.

Add oil in hot pan, cook the onion until soften, then add in chicken, cook until fully cooked. Add in XO sauce, mix well and set aside.

Bring the puff pastry to room temperature, cut the pastry into square or round square (whatever size you desire). Put a tablespoon filling in the middle, brush egg wash around the edges.

Fold it and press it with a fork. Brush egg wash on top of the pasty, sprinkle with some white sesame seeds. Bake in preheated oven at 180C , bake for 15 -18 minutes or golden. Enjoy!
