Put butter and golden syrup in a saucepan, cook under medium heat until bubble formed.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, oatmeal and desiccated coconut.
Mix hot water with baking soda, then pour into the saucepan. Mix it quickly.
Then pour the mixture into the dry ingredients, mix well.
Divide into small portion and roll a ball. Place it on lined baking sheet.
Pop in preheated oven at 170C, bake for 14-16 minutes. Let it cool completely and enjoy!
