Steamed Minced Pork with Preserved Vegetables 梅菜蒸肉餅

This is one of my family favourite homey dishes – traditional steamed minced pork with preserved vegetables. Preserved vegetables = Mei Cai 梅菜, pickled of Chinese mustards and cabbage. They are salty but not overpowering. 

Very simple minced meat with some preserved vegetables can make a world difference. Simply steam the meat and you will have a delicious Chinese homey dish and it is great to serve with plain rice. 

肉餅是非常受歡迎的家常菜,簡單加入香菇、馬蹄、鹹魚等,為平凡的肉餅增添美味!

我很喜歡梅菜,鹹而香,加入肉餅內,大火蒸10分鐘即成!簡單美味又超下飯! 

Soak the preserved vegetables in water for 10 minutes, then wash it an cut into small pieces. 

Add all the ingredients and seasoning into a big bowl, use chopsticks and mix it all together at clockwise motion , let it set for 15 minutes.

Place the meat in a plate, steam over medium-high heat for 10-12 minutes. 

將梅菜浸10分鐘,用水沖走沙粒,再切小塊。將所有材料和調味料放入大碗內,用筷子向同一方向拌勻,靜置15分鐘。

將肉平均鋪在碟內,用中大火蒸10-12分鐘即成!

Ingredients
  1. 250 gram pork, minced
  2. 60 gram preserved vegetables
For the Seasoning
  1. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  2. 1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  3. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  4. 1/2 teaspoon ShaoXing Wine
  5. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  6. 1 teaspoon corn starch
  7. 2 tablespoons water
  8. white pepper
  9. 材料:
  10. 免治豬肉 250克
  11. 梅菜 60克
  12. 調味料:
  13. 生抽 1湯匙
  14. 老抽 半茶匙
  15. 糖 半茶匙
  16. 麻油 半茶匙
  17. 紹酒 1茶匙
  18. 水 2湯匙
  19. 生粉 1茶匙
  20. 白胡椒粉 少許
Instructions
