So…Mr P is on healthy diet these months, try to lose few pounds 😉 Everything we eat at home, try to be less carbs, low fat and high protein. It is not too difficult, weather is hot and don’t feel like eating too much anyway. The most challenging part is when he craving for snack, but snack can be healthy too.
Simple Steamed Cake (Two Flavours) 簡易蒸蛋糕-兩種口味
These little cupcakes are so soft, airy and delicious. You can make different flavour, chocolate, matcha, coffee…anything really. Oh did I tell you, they are steamed cake, you don’t need a oven for making cake.
Super easy to make these cake, and they are light and without butter. Just seems healthier for me 😉 Perfect for breakfast or afternoon snack, I am sure kids will love it!

Simple daily Chinese dish that you can make it in 15 minutes! I always love to cook tofu, they are cheap, healthy and delicious! Steamed tofu is one of the best dishes that you don’t need to put any oil. So easy and quick meal ready!
Banana Mochi Rolls 懷舊香蕉糕
These banana mochi rolls are one of my childhood favourite snack. I remember when I was kid, every time I walked pass the snack shop, I must buy some of these mochi rolls. Yes they are called banana rolls but are not made of banana, just the flavouring. They are so chewy and just delicious!
Spicy Chicken Hotpot 麻辣雞煲
Every time when I back to Hong Kong for holiday, I must have this spicy chicken hotpot. This is Sichuan style with lots of chilli and chilli pepper, so spicy but also give you numb feeling. After finishing the chicken, pour some chicken stock in it and you can start the hotpot.
Blueberry Yogurt Muffins 藍莓乳酪鬆餅
I have been share a lot of muffins recipes with you guys, strawberry, blueberry, coffee…These blueberry yogurt muffins are slightly different and so far, I think they are the best among all!!! Mr P keep asking me to make more, they are so moist, soft and the sweetest come from the blueberries…so yummy and healthy.
Cantonese Shrimp & Pork Dumplings/ Wontons 港式鮮蝦豬肉雲吞
This is one of the most classic, popular and delicious Hong Kong food – Shrimp dumplings (wontons). You can find many Chinese noodles shops in Hong Kong that sell these shrimp wontons with noodles. They are so delicious and nowhere you can find better wontons but Hong Kong.
Every household has their own wontons recipe, so I share mine that is actually my mum’s recipe. I love to sit there and wrap a lot of wontons (maybe 60 pieces) , then I can freeze it for my quick meal. So easy to make, add some black fungus can give an extra texture. Hope you enjoy it too!
Korean Pan-fried Tofu 韓式豆腐
Tofu is very healthy, well everyone knows! They are cheap and very delicious! You can fry them, make soup, cook classic Chinese dish. This Korean style pan-fried tofu is so yummy, golden and crispy on the outside, soft in the inside. With the super simple but delicious sauce, seriously, I can eat the whole box of tofu!
It is perfect to serve with plain rice or even for a snack with beer. Enjoy!
Mango Mousse Cake 芒果慕絲凍餅
Mango dessert again! Yeah! I cannot stop buying mangoes as they look so delicious in supermarket. So beside the mango pudding, I love to make this no-bake mango mousse cake.
Of course, we need a classic crumble biscuits base, then go with very creamy mousse with mango flavour. Inside the mousse, I add more mango cubes. Finally with a layer of mango puree jelly on top. Perfect summer dessert to wow your guests! Enjoy!
