Homemade Pork Floss 自製豬肉鬆

These days, suddenly feel like eating Sticky Rice Roll, it is made of Sticky Rice, inside with You Tiao, pickled mustard and pork floss. So delicious and perfect for winter. However, the only pork floss I found in Asian market, it is very expensive and doesn’t taste right. So I have to make it myself!

It is very easy to make, I use the pork fillet that I cooked for Chinese soup first. It has much flavour and you don’t have any waste. It is just about time and patience. Keep cooking the shredded pork in low heat, until all the moisture dry out, add seasonings, and you will have a LOOOOT of pork floss. Try and hope you enjoy it!

前幾天突然非常想吃栥飯 – 上海的小食,用糯米著油炸鬼(油條)、榨菜和肉鬆。在亞洲超市找到非常貴,而味道怪怪的豬鬆,份量少得只可以包一條栥飯。所以唯有自己做肉鬆,做一大樽,吃過夠!

做法非常簡單,只需要耐性和時間。用煲過湯的豬肉來做,更香更美味!

Cook the pork with ginger and spring onion. I use the leftover pork from the Chinese soup, it tastes so much better and more flavoursome.

Put the pork in a pan, do not add oil, cook until medium low heat. Use your hands or spatula to shred the pork finely.

Keep stirring and after around 20 minutes to half an hour, or until the shredded pork dry totally, add in seasoning, mix well, done!

將豬肉煮熟 (可加薑片和香蔥一起煮),我是用煲湯剩下的豬肉,更入味更香!

將豬肉放入鍋內,不用下油,用中小火將豬肉烘乾。可用手或鑊剷將豬肉弄成幼絲

大約20分鐘至半小時,炒至肉絲變乾,再下調味料,拌勻即成!
