Ham and Kimchi Spaghetti 火腿泡菜忌廉意粉
A little fusion of kimchi and pasta, this spaghetti dish is full of kimchi flavour, not spicy, little bit sour yet creamy. Very special flavour and absolutely delicious.
I have to tell you, this is one of my favourite fusion pasta dish. It is not new to add some asian ingredients to cook pasta, but this one is epic! (Oh I use this word!)
Mr P thinks this is too weird and said I shouldn’t mix all these together.But I am bold and I love it!
This pasta dish is so creamy, full of kimchi flavour, a bit sour but not spicy. If you like kimchi, you have to try. It brings the kimchi to a new level! I do hope you like it as much as I do!

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil, cook the spaghetti and drain well. Heat oil in a hot pan, add onion and ham cook for few minutes. Then add in kimchi, cook for a minute.
先煮沸一煲水,下一茶匙鹽,煮意粉,然後瀝乾水份備用。熱鑊下油,先快炒洋蔥及火腿兩分鐘,然後下泡菜,再炒一分鐘。
Add in chicken powder and water, bring it to boil. Then add in cream (add more if you like creamy texture), season with salt and pepper, cook for one more minutes, then add in pasta and toss well. Enjoy!
再加雞粉及水拌勻,煮沸後,再下淡忌廉拌勻,可加鹽及胡椒粉調味,再煮一分鐘。最後加入遂意粉拌勻即成!
- 150 gram spaghetti
- 80 gram kimchi, chopped
- 100 gram ham, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 150 ml water
- 1 -2 teaspoons chicken powder
- 80 ml whipping cream
- 材料:
- 長意粉 -150克
- 泡菜 -80克,切碎
- 火腿 -100克,切小塊
- 洋蔥 -1/4個,切小塊
- 水-150毫升
- 雞粉 -1-2茶匙
- 淡忌廉 -80毫升
