Easy Fruit Galette 法式鄉村水果批

We have to enjoy summer while it last, how about some fruit dessert? This classic French fruit galette is the answer! Super easy to make, rustic, fuss-free and crispy pastry with any kind of fruit you like. Simple yet delicious dessert that can wow your guests.

Serve with a scoop of ice-cream or custard, this is what I called perfect summer dessert!

夏天最好做些水果甜品,色彩繽紛,充滿夏日氣息!這個法式鄉村水果批Galette,不需任何模具,將做好的批皮加上水果,再隨意將派皮摺好,就成鄉村風格的批囉~

批皮金黃酥脆,清新不膩,再配一球雪糕或卡士達醬,實在太好味了~做法簡單,大家一起試試~

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt together. Then add in cold butter, mix it with your hands and crumble it.

Then form a dough, do not knead it. If the dough is too dry, add some water; too wet, add some flour. (gradually add in water, you might not need all water) Wrap it with cling film and chill in fridge for 1 hour.

Mix the fruit with lemon juice, sugar and corn starch.

Sprinkle some flour on work top, roll the dough into round shape. Place fruit in the middle, then fold the edges.

Brush some egg wash on pastry, sprinkle with some sugar. Pop in preheated oven at 180C, bake for 35-40 minutes or until the pastry is golden and fruit is soften.

在大碗內,將麵粉、糖和鹽拌勻,然後將牛油切小塊,放入麵粉內,用手擠碎奶油,與麵粉拌勻,至成顆粉狀即可

然後推成麵糰,如麵團太乾,再加點水,太濕潤就加點麵粉。 堆成麵糰便可(不用搓的),搓圓,然後按壓一下,用保鮮紙包好,放入雪櫃一個小時 (不要一次過落所有水,逐少下)

將水果切小塊或切片,加檸檬汁、糖和粟粉(生粉)拌勻備用

在枱上灑少許麵粉,放上麵糰,用擀麵棒擀成圓形,在批皮中間放上水果,然後將周邊的批皮向內摺好

在批皮上塗一層蛋液,可灑少許白砂糖在上面,放入已預熱180度C焗爐,焗約35-40分鐘,至表面金黃色,水果軟身便可

  • 200-300 g fruit
