Creamy Tom Yum Goong Penne 冬蔭功忌廉長通粉
Classic Thai Tom Yum Goong is spicy, sour with lots of shrimp and vegetable. Little twist with this Asian soup mix with pasta, it is surprisingly delicious!
Tom Yum Goong is my favourite Thai soup, so I think it will be good to cook with pasta as well. Any sauce can go with pasta anyway right? To make it more delicious, of course, adding cream.
The sauce is so delicious and it is super easy to make. Perfect for week night dinner when you need little bit of heat!

Bring a large pot of salted water ,cook the penne or pasta of your choice. Drain well.
Add oil in hot pan, cook the shrimp, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Add more oil, add in garlic slices and onion. Then add in Tom Yum Goong paste, cook a little bit and add in chicken stock. (If you want more sauce, add more water)
Add in cooking cream, season with fish sauce and sugar. Finally add in shrimps and penne, cook for a minute and it is done.
一大煲沸水內下2小匙鹽,煮長通粉,然後瀝乾水份 (*比建議時間少煮1分鐘)
燒熱鑊後下油,先煎鮮蝦,下少許鹽和黑胡椒調味,盛起備用。
再下少許油,炒蒜片和洋蔥,然後下冬蔭功醬,炒一炒,再加雞湯(*如想要較多醬汁,可多加點高湯)
然後下淡忌廉,下少許魚露和糖調味。待醬汁煮沸後,下鮮蝦和長通粉,拌勻再煮一分鐘即成!
- 150 gram penne
- 8 shrimps
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1 glove garlic, thinly sliced
- 150 ml cream
- 200 ml chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons Tom Yum Goong paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- fish sauce
