Cheesy Baked Chicken à la King Rice 芝士焗白汁雞皇飯
Chicken à la King rice is very popular in KFC (in Hong Kong), I am not sure about other place, but when I was kid, every time had to order this rice dish …with the fried chicken of course. They are so delicious!
This time we take it to higher level, baked with cheese. The rich and creamy white sauce with chicken and rice, topped with melted cheese! Super easy to make, add some vegetables and perfect meal it is! I am sure kids will love it too! Enjoy!
很多人都喜歡KFC 的白汁雞重飯,這次做這個是焗的版本,加入芝士,焗至金黃香脆,再加上香濃的白汁。。。超級好味!
白汁的做法非常簡單,絕對不用下忌廉,用牛奶就可以!平時想吃什麼白汁意粉,焗白汁蔬菜,就用這個白汁便可,超簡單!
Cut the chicken into small pieces, season with salt and pepper and rest for 20 minutes. Add oil in hot pan, cook the chicken for few minutes. Then add in onion and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Add in mix vegetables and cook for two minutes, season with salt and pepper.
For the white sauce, add butter in a saucepan, cook until butter melted, then add in flour, mix it quickly. Then gradually add in milk, keep stirring until smooth. Bring it to boil, then simmer until the sauce is thicken. Season with salt and pepper.
Mix the white sauce with chicken and vegetable. *Add more milk if the sauce is too thick)
Place the rice in baking dish, pour the chicken and vegetable on top. Sprinkle with cheese and pop in preheated oven at 200C, bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Enjoy!
先將雞肉切小塊,用少許鹽及黑胡椒粉醃雞肉20分鐘。熱鑊下油,下雞肉,煮數分鐘至肉變色。然後下洋蔥,煮3 – 5分鐘,再下雜菜煮兩分鐘,下鹽及黑胡椒粉調味。
白醬做法: 在鑊內下牛油,煮至牛油溶化後,下麵粉,快速拌勻。逐少加入牛奶,不停攪拌至沒有粉粒,用中火煮至醬汁濃稠(不停攪拌),下鹽及黑胡椒粉調味,就成白汁
將白汁與蔬菜雞肉拌勻即成 *如白汁太濃稠,可多加點牛奶
將飯放入烤盤內,再淋上雞肉白醬。再灑上芝士,放入已預熱200度C焗爐,焗約10分鐘或至芝士溶化即成!
