Candy Cane Cookies 柺杖曲奇

It is December!!! Christmas is official coming, who is counting??? It is time to bake something Christmasy and get ready for the coming parties!!!!

These are very simple butter cookies but how adorable are they! It is super easy to make, no fuss recipe that everyone can make it. I tend to use a stronger red food colouring as it will fade a bit after bake. It is perfect for party or put in a little bag as gift to friends and family! Enjoy!

YEAH!十二月,又來倒數聖誕節!是時候計劃做什麼派對小食、送什麼小禮物給朋友!聖誕節糖果當然不少得柺杖糖Candy Cane,在外國十分流行,有少許薄荷味,紅,白,綠顏色,十分應節!這個是柺杖形狀的曲奇,外形超可愛,絕對是派對小食或送禮之選!超易做,快試試喔!

Cream the butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy. Then add egg, mix well. Sift in flour and form a dough.

Divide the dough into two, add in red food colouring in one dough. Wrap the doughs with cling film, chill in fridge for 1 hour.

Divide the dough into small pieces (around 10g), roll into long log. Put two logs together then twist and shape the cane.

Place it on baking sheet, then pop back in fridge to chill for 15 minutes. Then pop in preheated oven at 180C, bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool on baking sheet.

*This recipe can make about 18 cookies

先用打蛋器打發牛油及糖霜,然後下雞蛋拌勻. 篩入麵粉拌勻,用手輕搓成麵糰

將麵糰分成兩份,其中一份下紅色食用色素,搓至顏色均勻。用保鮮紙包好,放入雪櫃一小時

將麵糰分成小份(約10克),搓成4 至5吋長的長條。將一條普通麵糰及一條紅色麵糰疊在一起,然後輕力扭數下,再做成柺杖狀,放在烘焙紙上

可再放入雪櫃約15分鐘,然後放入已預熱180度C焗爐,焗約8至10分鐘即成!讓曲奇在烤盤上待涼15分鐘即可!

*這個食譜可做約16個餅乾
