Anzac Biscuits 澳新軍團餅乾
I never try Anzac biscuits until few months ago. I always see coffee shops in the UK sell these biscuits. They are crunchy, full of coconut flavour, rich and very delicious!
Anzac biscuits are very popular in Australia and New Zealand. During World War I , these biscuits were sent to frontline for the soldiers. And till this day, still very popular in Australia. They are super easy to make and delicious!

澳新軍團餅乾在澳洲、新西蘭非常流行,在第一次世界大戰時送上前線給軍人吃的。這個是金黃香脆的燕麥餅乾,內裡加了椰絲,非常香脆好味!
Put butter and golden syrup in a saucepan, cook under medium heat until bubble formed.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, oatmeal and desiccated coconut.
Mix hot water with baking soda, then pour into the saucepan. Mix it quickly.
Then pour the mixture into the dry ingredients, mix well.
Divide into small portion and roll a ball. Place it on lined baking sheet.
Pop in preheated oven at 170C, bake for 14-16 minutes. Let it cool completely and enjoy!
將牛油和轉化糖漿放入煲內煮溶,用中火煮沸。
然後將熱水和梳打粉拌勻,倒入煮沸的牛油內,快速拌勻。
在另一大碗內,將中筋麵粉、糖、燕麥和椰絲拌勻。
將煮好的牛油糖漿倒入乾的材料內,拌勻
分成小份,搓圓,放在鋪有烘焙紙的焗盤上。放入已預熱170C焗爐,焗約14-16分鐘。待涼後即可享用。
- 170 g Butter 牛油
- 40 g Golden Syrup 轉化糖漿
- 140 g Plain Flour 中筋麵粉
- 200 g Sugar 糖
- 50 g Oatmeal 燕麥
- 110 g Desiccated Coconut 椰絲
- 30 ml Water 水
- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda 梳打粉
