English Scones 英式鬆餅
Classic English scones are just perfect for tea time, serve with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Super easy and quick to make, perfect for afternoon treat!
For me, this is nothing more classic than English scones for afternoon tea. Mr P looooooves scones, so I have to make if from time to time, that the recipe already in my head. With the English clotted cream, or normal whipped cream and strawberry jam, plus a cup of tea, there you go, a classic English afternoon tea. Perfect!
Scone is one of the eastiest thing to bake for me! You don’t need any electric mixer, just all by your hands. The dough of the scone is quite “fraglie”, so you just have to treat it gently. Use your hands to make the dough together, don’t knead the dough.
Once it combine together, it is okay. Don’t use the rolling pin, use your hands to press the dough will do fine. Try to make it, it tastes sooo much better than the restaurant one, at least it is what my English taster said! 😉
英國人下午茶最愛的傳統英式鬆餅 Scones, 這是Mr P的最愛!我經常也會做鬆餅作下午茶點,因容易做又快,我連食譜也記在腦了!沒有什麼比鬆餅更經典喇!有點脆脆的像餅乾,塗上果醬及鮮奶油, 配一杯茶,在家High Tea也不錯喔!
做司康不難,注意小秘訣:做司康是不需要用打蛋器的,用手輕力推麵團,不需要搓的。不要用擀麵棒,要用手壓麵團。新手不敗,做出比餅店的更美味的司康!
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder together in a large bowl. Add in cubed butter, crumble it with your fingers, mix with the flour.
在大碗內,將麵粉,糖及泡打粉拌勻。然後下牛油,用手捏碎牛油,與麵粉拌勻成麵包糠狀。
Add one egg and gradually add in milk to let the dough comes together. (You may not need all the milk) Use your hands to form a dough.
加一隻蛋和逐少加入牛奶,用手堆成麵團便可 (可能不需用所有的牛奶)。將麵團放在灑有麵粉的枱上,用手壓麵團成2cm厚,然後印出圓印。放在鋪有烘焙紙的烤盤上。
Place the dough on floured surface, gently press it into about 2 cm thick. Use a cookie cutter to cut circle, place on lined baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush some egg wash on top, bake in preheated oven at 180C, for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden.
將鬆餅面上塗一層蛋液,放入已預熱180度焗爐,焗15至18分鐘至金黃色即成!
- 260 gram all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 50 gram sugar
- 75 gram unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 60 ml milk
- 40 gram raisin
- 材料:
- 中筋麵粉 -260克
- 泡打粉 -2茶匙
- 糖 -50克
- 無鹽牛油 -75克
- 雞蛋 -1隻
- 鮮奶 -60毫升
- 葡萄乾 -40克

- Add one egg and milk, mix well. Gradually add in water to let the dough comes together. (You may not need all the water) Use your hands to form a dough.
- Place the dough on floured surface, gently press it into about 2 cm thick.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut a round shape, place on lined baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brush some egg wash on top, bake in preheated oven at 180C, for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden.
